The combination of clear skies, light winds, and recent rains
have allowed areas of dense fog to form across portions of
southwest Minnesota, southeast South Dakota, and northwest Iowa,
causing visibilities to be reduced. Given that further expansion
is possible before daybreak we encourage you to proceed with
caution during your morning commute. It is recommended that
drivers slow down, use their low-beam headlights, and increase
their following distance.
