...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS
EVENING TO NOON CST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of up to two
inches, with locally higher amounts possible in higher
elevations of east central South Dakota. Winds gusting as high
as 45 to 55 mph, with the strongest winds expected west of
Interstate 29.

* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast South Dakota,
northwest Iowa and southwest Minnesota. This includes the
tribal lands of the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribal Nation.

* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to noon CST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing
snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning commute. Strong winds
could cause tree damage.
